The Challenge

The founder had a compelling vision: build an e-commerce platform where shopping directly funds disease prevention and treatment worldwide. But the execution challenges were significant — integrating Amazon's Product Advertising API for real-time product data, building a curation system that maintains quality across 500+ products, creating transparent donation tracking so users see exactly where their impact goes, and designing campaign pages for specific diseases that tell compelling stories while driving purchases. All while maintaining the conversion-focused UX that affiliate commerce demands.

The Solution

We architected a Laravel application that acts as an intelligent curation layer on top of Amazon's product catalog. The Product Advertising API integration pulls real-time pricing, availability, and reviews, while our curation engine categorizes products into health-aligned collections with editorial context. Each disease campaign (malaria, TB, HIV/AIDS, etc.) has its own landing page with impact metrics, partner organization profiles, and curated product recommendations. A transparent earnings dashboard shows users the platform's total contributions, broken down by campaign. The affiliate link system handles Amazon's attribution requirements while maintaining a seamless shopping experience.
